New technologies have changed the relations to the social and altered well known hierarchies between the local, the regional and the global. In a globalized world the sociality is confronted with a magnitude of overlapping networks that challenge the architectural theories of space, and it is the overall ambition of the department to challenge this new paradigm, and through the experimental use of new technologies to find new ways of asking relevant questions to new problems and offer new ways of working around them in relation to the programmatic, social and conceptual challenges of the 21_st century.
